Not everything fits a case study. Here's a glimpse at the practices I keep returning to, the workshops I've facilitated, and the ways I stay curious.
UX for AI · 8-week program
RAG-based Responsible Digital Health Assistant
Greg Nudelman's UX for AI program — an 8-week deep dive into defining and building a real AI product from scratch. My project: a RAG-based Responsible Digital Health Assistant. I went from concept and interaction design through to actually writing Python, setting up a retrieval pipeline, and testing the prototype end-to-end.

Building a portfolio with Astro, Claude Code & Netlify
Designed and built from scratch — no template. I wrote the code in VS Code with Claude Code, used Astro as the framework, managed it through GitHub, and deployed to Netlify. A chance to practice working at the intersection of design decisions and implementation, and to understand what it actually takes to ship something.
User Research · AI-assisted
Research with data preparation and AI assistance
Exploring how AI tools can support the research process — from structuring questionnaires and preparing raw data, to using AI assistance during evaluation and synthesising findings. Not replacing the researcher's judgment, but making the heavy lifting lighter.
Visual Thinking
Sketchnotes
Drawing to think. I use Apple Freeform, Procreate, FigJam — or just a pen and a flipchart. Sketchnotes let me combine writing, drawing and learning in one place. I come back to them more often than I expected.

Facilitation
Design Thinking Workshops
Learning by doing. As design thinking became a key skill at our agency, I helped build several internal formats: a 30-minute lightning session, a 2-hour intro, and a full-day deep dive — in person and remote. Teaching it turned out to be the best way to really understand it.
Agile · Cross-functional
Planning discovery work
I like planning sessions where everyone speaks. Here: planning discovery work for a new product page with a cross-functional team — defining outcomes, splitting tasks, and running a magic estimation so each perspective had a place in the plan.
Learning
Continuous Product Discovery
Teresa Torres' 6-week masterclass built around Continuous Discovery Habits. We analyzed Slack's product strategy, ran user interviews, mapped findings, brainstormed feature ideas, and developed assumption tests — with direct feedback from Teresa in Miro.
21-day challenge
Product Field
21 days, one digital product per day. I used the Product Field framework to quickly analyze each one — learning which areas came naturally and which ones I still needed to develop. It became a habit: I still do a quick product field read whenever I encounter something new.
